Department is all investigations to all the department
patients.
BLOOD BANK
Our
hospital has a 24 hours blood bank. It is a licensed
blood bank and sticks to all rules as per the
Drug Act.

On
an average 400 unit of blood is
used in our hospital. And the blood
bank takes blood from only relative
donors and voluntary donors. The
blood bank issues whole human blood
components as per clinical need
fully screened as per drug act.
We have fully automated ELISA system
by which all blood samples are screened
for safety like HIV, Hbs Ag, HCV,
VDRL, MP and other blood parasites.
Complete cross matching is done
by coombs method (Major and
Minor). |

The
blood is collected in disposable CPD
bags and stored in a blood storage
refrigerator which has continuous
temperature monitor and keeps the
blood at + - 4o
C. Apart from this our hospital has
about 400 voluntary donors associated
with different donor associations
who are readily available and willing
to donate at times of emergency. |
