About the Department

The Department of Gastro Enterologist Endo Laproscopic and Liver Surgery unit was started on 1 st January 2001.

It is a very comprehensive and cohesive unit which has the diagnostic and therepetic division of endoscopy, colonoscopy ERCP and Laproscopy all under one roof.

Laproscopic and the liver unit is headed by Dr.S.Vijaykumar MS, FRCS(gastro) FRCS (Glascow).

Therapeutic ERCP section is headed by Dr.V.G. Mohan Prasad MD, DM(Gastro) the moot eminent medical gastro enterologist.

Every year we perform 300 major surgeries 1000 upper GI scopy 400 colour copies , and 60 introspective ERCP .

We conduct free gastro and liver camp annually and the whole treatment cost is subsidised.
