Dr. Sanjitha graduated (MBBS) from Coimbatore Medical College and completed her post-graduation (DMRD) at Barnard Institute of Radiology, Madras Medical College in 2012, where she trained in all modalities. She then completed her DNB from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi in 2015.

With a special interest in women's imaging, she underwent antenatal imaging training under Dr. Boopathy Vijayaraghavan and completed a visiting fellowship training in Breast Imaging at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston.

She has presented various posters and papers at national and international conferences. She is a member of IRIA, RSNA, ESR and is currently pursuing FRCR from the Royal College, London.
