Dr. Arunadevi K is an experienced Neurologist and has a passion in treating patients with stroke and epilepsy.
She started her journey of medicine from Coimbatore Medical College in the year 1992.
She joined Sri Ramakrishna Hospital as a Junior resident in Neurology specialty in 1999.
Her passion in Neurology propelled her to do DNB Medicine and then further DM in Neurology in the esteemed Stanley Medical College.
She has the advantage of working in the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery and had experience in both as a Junior resident.
After completing her Neurology training, she joined Sri Ramakrishna Hospital as an Assistant Neurologist and worked under Dr. K. Asokan until she was elevated to the post of Consultant Neurologist.
She then continued her Neurology journey at GKNM Hospital in Coimbatore where her interests in Stroke was well nurtured and she became one of the pioneers in Stroke Neurology in Coimbatore.

She is well trained in stroke with vast experience in Thrombolysis and stroke care.
She is also experienced and a pioneer in treating movement disorders like Parkinson’s disorder.
Her expertise in treating elderly and geriatric patients has also led her to treat large number of dementia patients, even online.
Her other interests include headaches and peripheral neuropathy.
Her experience in Epilepsy treatment, starting from her Post Graduation days in Stanley Medical College, had led her to be an experienced Neurologist in treating epilepsy patients as well.
She is one of the few female neurologists in the city and state as well with whom female patients are very comfortable to vent out their neurological issues.
She gives them time and listens to their complaints with compassion and treats them with passion.

She is an invited speaker in the state and National conferences in her field.
She also has credits of presenting papers and posters in National and State conferences.
