Dr. Arun Gangadhar completed his post-graduation in Respiratory Medicine from the prestigious Ganga Ram Institute for Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (GRIPMER) in New Delhi. During his tenure there, he received advanced training in a wide range of interventional pulmonological procedures from leading experts in the field. His skills include:

• Bronchoscopical Procedures: Flexible bronchoscopy, transbronchial and endobronchial lung biopsy, and endobronchial ultrasound (both Linear and Radial).
• Thoracoscopy: Diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the pleural space.
• Advanced Interventions: Airway stent placements, electrocautery, dilatation, and foreign body extraction.

After his initial specialization, Dr. Arun Gangadhar pursued further training with a 1 year Fellowship in Critical Care and later a Fellowship in Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) at GRIPMER, New Delhi. Professional Experience

Dr. Arun Gangadhar has served as a Consultant Pulmonologist and Intensivist at Daya Hospital in Thrissur, Kerala. During his tenure, he pioneered the Interventional Pulmonology department, establishing services such as:

• Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS): Both Linear and Radial guided Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA).
• Semi-Rigid Thoracoscopy: A minimally invasive procedure for diagnosing and treating pleural diseases

His work made Daya Hospital the first center in the district to offer radial EBUS.
