She has successfully completed 1,000+ intricate brain and spine surgeries.
Her journey of medical education began with the completion of MBBS at Stanley Medical College, Chennai, followed by a five-year Super Specialization in Neurosurgery (Diplomate of Neurosurgery, National Board of Examination, New Delhi) at Apollo Specialty Hospital, Chennai.
She holds the prestigious FRCS (Ed) qualification from The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK.
With the expertise of working as a Registrar in the Neurosurgery Unit at SIMS, Chennai, she honed her skills further and pursued Cerebrovascular Fellowship at Fujita University, Japan.
Additionally, she gained further international experience as an observer at Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven and Saint Louis University, St. Louis, USA.
Further, she received basic training in neuroendovascular therapy at GB Pant Institute, Delhi.
Dr. Dhivya holds the prestigious FRCS (Ed) qualification from The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK achieved through the Joint Surgical College Fellowship Examination.
For nearly a decade, she served as an independent consultant neurosurgeon at Sri Narayani Hospital and Research Center and Apollo KH Hospital in Vellore.

Performing neuro-oncological surgery, skull base surgery, transnasal transsphenoidal endoscopic surgery, cerebrovascular procedures for aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations, microvascular decompression for trigeminal neuralgia and hemifacial spasm, awake craniotomy for brain tumor excision.
Spine tumor surgery, spine stabilization for trauma and infections, and pediatric neurosurgical interventions such as spinal dysraphism surgery.
