Dr. Hemalatha pursued Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Coimbatore Medical College during the time of 2000-2006.
Further she completed her Post Graduation MD in Anatomy and Embryology from The Asia’s best Department and India’s Top Ranking Medical College from KMC Manipal, Manipal University during 2008 -2011.
Her commitment towards medical excellence led her to pursue Professional Certification in Genetics and Genomics along with Basic Genetics, Genomics, Metabolomics, Proteomics, Precision Medicine, Cancer Genetics, and Stem Cell Therapeutics from the Stanford University that is ranked 3rd among the top Best and Global Universities during Feb 2016 to April 2017.
After which she completed her Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Clinical Genetics from the Department of Medical Genetics from the prestigious institute CMC Vellore which ranks 3rd among the India’s Top Best Medical Colleges during the years 2021 to 2023.
