The Department of Cardiology at Sri Ramakrishna Hospital is accredited by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) to offer a comprehensive 3-year DrNB training program in Cardiology. Our department has a strong academic foundation and admits four candidates annually, providing focused, high-quality training.
Residents are actively involved in a high-volume, diverse case mix, ensuring robust exposure to both routine and complex cardiac conditions. The program emphasizes practical learning, supervised procedural training, and progressive independence.

Clinical Assessment & Management of Cardiac Disease
Proficiency in diagnostic coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary interventions (PTCA)
Hands on pacemaker implantation & exposure to device Interrogation
Exposure to 3D Electrophysiology Study (EPS) and Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
Hands on pediatric cardiac interventions, Exposure to Interventional Radiology procedures
